2014-2017 Rhode Island DOT Biennial Bridge Inspections

HAKS is providing biennial inspection and evaluation of a select number of highway bridges throughout the state of Rhode Island for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation.  The project encompasses inventory, routine, special and fracture-critical inspections of a variety of state and local structures ranging from arches and trusses over waterways to multi-girder bridges over I-95 and railroads.  Services include underwater inspections, non-destructive testing, load rating analysis and design of emergency or high-priority repairs.

Bridge inspection reports are prepared with AASHTOWare Bridge Management software, including Structural Inventory and Appraisal and notifications of critical findings and maintenance issues that may affect public safety.
